Renush was established in 2005 by designer Renáta Koch, a graduate in Footwear and Accessories from Cordwainers College at the London College of Fashion.
Taking her inspiration from the contours of the human body and the characteristics of materials used, Renáta uses traditional techniques such as wet moulding, carving and tooling to create thoroughly modern and highly original pieces. Her fascination with the versatility of leather leads Renáta down a variety of experimental routes, finding different ways to manipulate the leather and showcase its many facets. Renáta is particularly interested in the tactile qualities of the material itself; how wearing a piece of jewellery can change your mood or the way you carry yourself.
Renush has a strong eco fashion policy, using vegetable-tan leather, which is treated on the premises, and recycled fabrics. All production is in the UK.
