about

Donna LouiseHead Stylist

Donna’s love for fashion began at a very early age when her eye for what to wear caught the attention of many, later on in her teenage years Donna realised she had a natural talent for knowing what “works” and decided to share this knowledge with others. She carried out her studies at the world famous London College of Fashion where half way through her term she was headhunted by Maverick TV to work alongside Nicky Hambleton-Jones in the Channel 4 hit series “10 Years younger”.
Along with her hard work and a plethora of contacts she then approached by the hugely popular “Absolute Brighton” Magazine where she was asked to do a styling slot in a local radio station and her very own style advice fashion column. Donna then went to be involved in many other well known events such as the Specsavers “spectacle wearer of the year awards” where she worked alongside Gok Wan, Britain’s Next Top Model Live and Brighton Fashion Week where she has now been awarded the Head Stylist Role.
Donna also has a good celebrity clientele and is currently the sole personal stylist of “The Only Way is Essex” star Lauren Goodger. She also does many interviews for weekly celebrity magazines such as “Star” and “Closer”.
Donna has taken the fashion and personal styling concept to a whole new level and is always looking for ways to expand her business and is on course to producing her own fashion shows, style advice evenings and opening her very own style academy.

about

Ellie NewlandProducer

Ellie has been part of the Brighton Fashion Week team since 2009 but is still scared of Facebook. She uses the word ‘darling’ far too much (which can get her into trouble at times), and currently harbours an unhealthy obsession with Marie Antoinette.  Alongside her work in the fashion field, Ellie works freelance in event production and education projects at a variety of museums, galleries and heritage sites – meaning she gets to pretend she lives in the past quite a bit.  She loves exercising her bossy side as fashion week’s Executive Producer (forget the ‘Executive’ part at your peril), and is longing for the day when having white cat hairs all over your black coat becomes a fashion statement. With Ellie at the production helm for 2012, expect the unexpected from the shows.

Delia ChandlerWeb Editor

As the matriarch of her own little Benetton family, this reformed luddite cut her editorial, marketing, and PR teeth in an era when “DIY” was a necessary tool for the impoverished underground art, film, and music scenes. “Copy/paste” was a xerox machine and cello tape. The “market” was where you purchsed packets of instant ramen noodles. "PR" was talking your way out of being arrested for posting your show flyer on the wrong wall. She's now heading up our team of bloggers for BFW 2012 in preparation for an exciting new web-launch as well as working on the marketing and PR team.
